(Hadley, MA) — For the first time ever, Hadley residential and commercial property owners will pay different tax rates. The Hadley Selectboard this week voted 3-2 to split the rate, forcing commercial property owners to assume more of the share of the tax burden. Hadley has historically approved a “factor of one” rate for both commercial and residential parcels.
