Hadley Wal-Mart Shooting Suspect Ordered Held Without Bail

(Northampton, MA) — A man accused of shooting two teenagers in the bathroom of the Hadley Wal-Mart will remain held without bail. A Hampshire Superior Court Judge has ruled that 26-year-old Wilmer Alvarez-Vargas was ordered to remain in custody following a dangerousness hearing yesterday. Alvarez-Vargas was arraigned last week on seven criminal counts in connection with the August 22nd shooting which left the two victims with life-threatening injuries.
