(Hadley, MA) — The two men shot during an August attack in a Hadley store bathroom have been arraigned on drug charges. The Northwestern DA’s office says 20-year-old Juan Hernandez, 20, of Schenectady, NY, and Jeraun Matos, 21, of Springfield, were arraigned from their hospital beds at Baystate Medical Center, where they are recovering from injuries sustained in the August 22nd shooting inside the Hadley Walmart. The alleged shooter, 26-year-old Wilmer Alvarez of Chicopee, was ordered held without bail after a dangerousness hearing. Alvarez’ alleged accomplice, 32-year-old Keyla Fernandez, will be back in court for a pre-trial conference September 20th.
