(undated) — Local court officials are apparently not happy with a state decision to move Hampshire County legal proceedings to a Greenfield location. The state Executive Office of the Trial Court plans to move Hampshire County trials to a Munson Street Greenfield building leased by the trial court. State officials say the decision was made for health and safety reasons, but a number of officials including Northwestern DA Dave Sullivan say the change will place a burden on jurors and court officers who will have to drive an additional 40 miles each day. The first trials in the new makeshift court are expected to begin this coming Monday.
