(Hatfield, MA) The recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Hatfield has caused the closure of the Town Hall. Seven new COVID-19 cases have been reported since Thursday, for a total of 39 for the town. A letter from the town that went out on Monday announced the closure of the Town Hall indefinitely, and Hatfield schools will be learning remotely until at least November 30. According to the letter, contact tracing has been completed and anyone who has had immediate exposure to the virus has been notified and asked to quarantine. A special town meeting will be held on November 21 at 11am at the Lions Pavilion. A quorum of 10 people will be required for the meeting.
