(Hatfield, MA) — It’s about to cost a bit more for water and sewer services in the town of Hatfield. The Hatfield Selectboard this week voted to increase water and sewer rates by five percent for next year. It’s expected to cost the average homeowner an extra $51 dollars a month. The extra money will be used to fund operating and capital expenses for both systems.
