(Charlemont, MA) The Charlemont Selectboard has opted to not write a letter to the Hawlemont Regional School Committee, asking for their resignations. The possible letter appeared on their agenda for Wednesday night’s meeting. Selectboard members decided the letter would be unproductive. Members of the Hawlemont School Committee encountered calls for their resignation at a meeting earlier this month in response to their contentious relationship with the Mohawk Trail Regional School District.
