(Gardner, MA) According to a statement released on Monday, Heywood Healthcare has voluntarily filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, otherwise known as “Reorganization.” Heywood Healthcare is comprised of Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Athol Hospital, Critical Access Hospital, and Heywood Medical Group.
