(Athol, MA) Heywood Healthcare will start allowing visitors in both hospitals starting Monday, June 29. Each patient will be allowed one healthy visitor, who will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms. COVID-19 patients will not be permitted to have visitors. COVID-19 patients who may have an end of life issue will be permitted visitors. Visitors are permitted 11am-7pm except for laboring mothers who will have a more liberal policy for their support person.
