GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield High School football team picked up its first win of the season on Friday night, dominating the Frontier Red Hawks, 30-6. Erik Martineau had three touchdowns on the evening: two receptions for scores, and a pick-six.

The Athol Bears tasted defeat for the first time this season, losing decisively to the Lee Wildcats, 42-7. The Mahar Senators also lost for the first time in 2024, falling to Northampton, 28-28. The Franklin Tech Eagles rolled over Pathfinder, 46-6, to go to 3-0 on the season.
