(Franklin County, MA) A severe wind warning is in effect for Franklin County starting 2pm this afternoon and lasting to 2am on Thursday. Wind gusts are predicted to get up to 60mph. Anyone in the impacted areas should avoid travel, avoid being around highly forested areas, avoid windows and remain in the lower levels of the home. Winds up to 60mph can cause any lighter, unsecured outdoor items to blow away.
