ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The structure was saved and no injuries were incurred in a Saturday house fire in Orange this weekend.
Firefighters arrived at 44 Whitney Street finding heavy smoke on the second floor and fire in the walls extending to the attic. The second floor was deemed uninhabitable until repairs could be made.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but not believed to be suspicious.
