(undated) — State lawmakers are bristling at Governor Baker’s proposal to waive the state’s sales tax for August and September. Baker said he wants to extend the sales tax holiday from just one weekend to two full months in an effort to financially aid residents and business owners. Opponents, however, say it would have the opposite effect by benefiting only those who can afford to spend the most money.
