(Northampton, MA) — One of the most powerful women in the federal government will be speaking at Smith College this fall. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be appearing at Smith September 8th as part of the college’s “Presidential Colloquium” Series. Pelosi was to have been awarded an honorary degree at the 2020 Smith commencement ceremony, which was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is free but tickets will be required to attend the event, which will take place at the John M. Greene Hall on the Smith campus.
