(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield Human Rights Commission will be hosting a discussion at the Greenfield Garden Cinemas following a 7:15 p.m. screening of the film “Till” on November 3rd.

Human Rights Commission Vice Chair Philippe Simon said, “Emmett Till’s lynching was one of the most shameful acts of brutality and murder in American history, and while progress has been made even recently with the Senate passing and President Biden signing the Emmett Till Anti Lynching Act, there is still much work to be done. What would that look like? How can one get involved? What would you like the Greenfield Human Rights Commission to take on as a project? These are some of the questions we’ll explore. We encourage people to share their feelings, opinions and what they may have learned from watching this film.”

The discussion will explore possible actions for the Human Rights Commission and the public’s reactions and findings from the film. There will be a raffle for a movie poster at the discussion.
