Irmarie Jones Passes At 97

(Buckland, MA) Irmarie Jones, a longtime resident of Buckland, Leverett and Greenfield died early yesterday (Wednesday) at the age of 97. Jones was a columnist and reporter for the Greenfield Recorder for 43 years and also spent time as an announcer on radio station WHAI. Jones won the Greenfield Recorder Citizen of the Year Award in 1993. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
