(Massachusetts) Individuals age 75 and older are now able to make an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Massachusetts as part of Phase Two of the Massachusetts Vaccination Plan. Starting February 1, anyone over the age of 75 can book an appointment online at www.mass.gov/COVIDvaccinemap. Since supply of vaccines is limited and demand may be high, the Baker-Polito administration is warning that it may take time to secure an appointment. Appointments can be made at mass vaccination locations, some local boards of health, local pharmacies, some primary care providers, or an onsite clinic for eligible public or private affordable low income senior housing. For assistance scheduling an appointment, go to the local Council on Aging or Senior Center, or any Regional Aging Services Access Point. During the appointment, an attestation of eligibility to receive the vaccine will be made and an insurance card may be required even though the vaccine is free. A government issued identification or license will also be required.
