MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Montague Clean Water Facility has conducted a Composting Feasibility Study to determine whether composting or drying their biosolids would be a worthwhile option for the town, as managing the biosolids, also called “sludge” comes with a cost – both fiscal and environmental.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5th, a public information session will be held at 5 p.m. via Zoom to learn more about the study.
