(Ludlow, MA) The incident reported earlier today of a jumper off of the Cottage Avenue Bridge has been confirmed to be a prank, according to Wilbraham Police Department. At around noon, the Ludlow and Wilbraham Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a jumper off the Cottage Avenue Bridge into the Chicopee River. While the search was ongoing, the Wilbraham Police were contacted by individuals who reported the incident to be a prank. The prank was then confirmed and all persons were accounted for. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
