Websites like Entrepreneur.com suggest strong communication in the face of changing policies during an ongoing crisis like Covid-19. Changing policies in sick leave, business practices, and working remotely require strong communication with employees. If you’re open for business with a changed business model, for example if you’re making deliveries or you’re selling your product online, those changes should be communicated to your customers as well.

Forbes.com optimistically called out the Coronavirus for transforming businesses into community oriented cultures that step up to help. Hailing brands like L’Oréal and LVMH Moët Hennessy for shifting gears and making hand sanitizer, Heather E. McGowan thinks bold corporate leadership and strong corporate culture is the backbone of sustained growth during the strained economic times.

“The very survival of a company during the age of the coronavirus is dependent upon a culture that can withstand systematic disruption” wrote McGowan.

Experts are hopeful the restrained measures put in place around the world work to contain the pandemic. Italy may finally be showing signs the virus is slowing down, according to Business Insider.

Locally, Massachusetts is under a stay at home advisory until at least April 7. Non essential businesses are also closed until at least April 7. Schools remain closed through May 4, and President Trump has expanded his social distancing recommendations on March 30 until  April 30.
