GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s Greenfield City Council meeting, the council unanimously voted in favor of the purchase of a new ladder truck for the fire department.
Fire Chief Robert Strahan was at the meeting and said every avenue of potential funding for this truck had been explored with Mayor Ginny Desorgher, who worked hard to make this possible without borrowing funds and increasing the city’s debt burden.
