(Orange, MA) A propane leak in Orange today caused a precautionary evacuation when a 1,000 gallon tank began spewing liquid propane. Buildings three through seven and the Recreation Hall at Red Brook Village were evacuated until crews secured the area and the propane company emptied the leaking tank into a non leaking tank. According to the Orange Fire Department, a large amount of water was used and residents may have discolored water in the taps over the next few days.
