GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Paving work for the Legion Avenue Parking Lot behind Green Fields Market will begin this Friday, July 26th with milling. Paving is expected to take place on Monday and then painting will follow. While this parking lot will be closed, City Hall, Chapman/Davis, Ames Street, and Miles Street lots will all be available to residents and parking pass holders.

GREENFIELD—The Legion Avenue Parking Lot, located behind the Green Fields Market, will undergo paving work beginning on Friday, July 26. The lot will not be accessible during the paving process.

Below is the current paving schedule. Please note that this plan is weather-dependent.

·       Friday, July 26 – Milling

·       Monday, July 29 – Paving

·       Painting the parking lines will follow the paving process. We will notify the public when a painting day is set.

While the Legion Avenue Parking Lot is unavailable, residents and parking pass holders can utilize other municipal parking lots, including:

·       The City Hall Parking Lot

·       The Chapman/Davis Parking Lot

·       Ames Street Parking Lot

Miles Street Parking Lot
