(undated) – Permanent changes to the state’s voting laws appear to be a source of disagreement between both houses of the Legislature. The Senate appears ready to expand a number of COVID-era changes, among them the extension of early in-person and mail-in voting. But some House members do not support the inclusion of same-day voter registration. Debate on both versions of the bill are expected to begin this week.
