(Leverett, MA) — Don’t go hiking on Leverett’s Joshua Hill–at least not yet. That from the town’s fire chief, who says there may still be hotspots in the area from a recent fire which scorched close to 60 acres of forest land in that area. It took crews from multiple towns close to a week to put down the blaze, which did not damage any properties in the area. Joshua Hill has long been a popular spot for local hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.
