LEYDEN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced the awards for this fiscal year’s Woodland’s Partnership Implementation Grants on August 12th. The seven awards total $225,450 and will advance a number of land conservation, restoration, and rural economic development projects.

Leyden recieved $25,000 to achieve a site plan with recommendations to increase year-round passive recreational use of recently gifted forest land adjacent to Avery Field and Town Park facilities.
