(Greenfield, MA) LifePath of Greenfield is a nonprofit working to support the community’s older population by connecting them with many services and resources to maintain their independence. Several of the programs LifePath runs are funded by the Older Americans Act, which was reauthorized in 2020 as the Supporting Older Americans Act.
Funding made available through this act along with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs supports LifePath’s advocacy programs for older adults with disabilities and home repair services for older adults. The home repair services program has allowed local residents to age in place and maintain their independent living situation. LifePath is partnering with the Athol, Erving, and Shelburne Senior Centers and Village Neighbors on this program.
