(Greenfield, MA) — One of the casualties of Saturday night’s heavy rain and winds was the final night of the 2021 “Light Up The Fairgrounds” event at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. The Franklin County Agricultural Society early Sunday announced that the final night of the drive-through fundraiser would be canceled after Saturday’s weather took down many of the festivals light displays. Rather than try to repair the extensive damage, the society decided to close the display a day early. It is expected to return in 2022.
