ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Athol community members came to a Selectboard meeting to speak out against a proposed skate park and splash park off of Lincoln Avenue. Neighbors in the area cited increased disruptions, increased workload for the police department, and reduced green space in their opposition. The Selectboard and Town Manager will be continuing the conversation for when and what form this skate park could take.
