(Franklin County, MA) The nationwide effort to honor Betty White on what would have been her 100th birthday was felt locally on Monday. People across the nation pledged and made donations to their local animal shelter on Monday January 17th in White’s memory. According to their Facebook page, the Franklin County Sherriff’s Department Regional Dog Shelter accepted $3800 in donations on Monday.
