NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Jeffrey MacDonald, accused of murdering his wife, Emma MacDonald, at the UMass hotel in April, was arraigned in Hampshire County Superior Court on Friday. MacDonald is being held without bail and charged with murder, assault and battery on a Police Officer and on a family member, and assault with a dangerous weapon. The case will come to court on September 3rd.
