Northampton Salon Robbed With Hypodermic Needle

(Northampton, MA) — A Holyoke man will face assault and armed robbery charges after allegedly trying to rob a Northampton hair salon with a hypodermic needle. The 44-year-old apparently entered Pam’s Kickin Kuts on King Street and threatened the receptionist with the needle. The suspect allegedly said he wanted money but he didn’t want to hurt anyone. Northampton Police apprehended the man a short time after he tried to flee the scene.
