Mark Williams Announced As East Longmeadow Police Chief

(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield Deputy Chief Mark A. Williams will be moving on from Greenfield Police Department. The Town of East Longmeadow has announced Williams will be the new Police Chief effective January 19, 2021. Williams has been the Deputy Police Chief in Greenfield since 2014.

Current East Longmeadow Police Chief Jeffery Dalessio is set to retire on January 15, 2021 after 40 years of service.

“I am truly appreciative and grateful to Chief Dalessio for his dedicated service to the Town of East Longmeadow and wish him a long, healthy, and happy retirement,” said Town Manager Mary E. McNally in a recent press release.
