Here is a list of the local towns and cities that have issued some guidance regarding wearing masks to prevent COVID-19, and weather it is a mandate or an advisory. An advisory is more of a recommendation while a mandate is an order. Currently, face coverings can include a scarf, a bandana, or a homemade cloth masks. N-95 masks are not part of the advisory or mandates.
Greenfield – Advisory
Orange – Mandate
Northampton – Mandate
Walmart Stores Nationwide – All employees must wear masks. Public encouraged but not required.
Big Y – All customers and employees in all Massachusetts and Connecticut required to wear masks.
Connecticut – All individuals must wear masks when social distancing is not possible.
