(undated) – Massachusetts business owners are coming out against the so-called “Fair Share Amendment.” A group of business owners led by the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance and the Massachusetts chapter of the National Federation of Independent Businesses held a press conference Thursday in an attempt to “clarify” the real impacts of the ballot question, which, if passed, would levy a four percent surcharge on incomes over a million dollars. The business owners say the tax will not just impact the super-wealthy, but also small and medium size business owners who depend on those funds to run their operations and individual households.
