(undated) — It may take a bit longer for Massachusetts car owners to get their vehicles inspected. An apparent malware attack has temporarily halted the process of conducting motor vehicle inspections in Massachusetts and nationwide. State RMV officials say it will take some time to restore the service, but law enforcement has been notified of the problem and has been asked not to issue citations to car owners who may have an expired sticker but tried to renew it on March 30 and 31. More information on the outage can be found at the website www.mavehiclecheck.com.
