(undated) — There may be some encouraging news regarding the spread of the coronavirus in Massachusetts. The Mass Department of Public Health reports that 870 new cases were reported in Massachusetts yesterday, which is the lowest one-day rate of contagion in almost a month. A total of 33 COVID 19 deaths were reported on Tuesday, also far below the average daily rate since the pandemic’s peak in mid-April.
