Massachusetts COVID Numbers Set New Single Day Record

(undated) – A grim new milestone related to COVID cases in Massachusetts. The state Department of Public Health says a record 21,137 new cases were reported on Thursday. A total of 36 new deaths were also reported. There are 1,817 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19, 382 of which are in intensive care. In Franklin County, there are 100 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,481, with 130 deaths.
