(undated) — Massachusetts school children will be returning to the classroom early next month. State Education Commissioner Jeff Riley has announced that April 5th will be the date elementary school students will return to in-person learning five days a week. Middle school students will return April 28th, and a final decision on when high schoolers will go back will be made next month. Riley was recently granted the power to order schools to reopen by an 8-3 vote of the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
