(Williamstown, MA) – Massachusetts’s first ever “first husband” has passed away. Chuck Hunt died this week at the age of 67 following a lengthy illness. Hunt was the husband of former Governor Jane Swift, who became the first female chief executive in Bay State history following the resignation of Governor Paul Cellucci in 2001.
