(Holyoke, MA) — Area veterans will soon be getting a new Holyoke Soldiers Home. Governor Baker has signed a $400 million dollar bond bill which will reconstruct the current Holyoke facility. In addition to the $400 million for the Holyoke project, the bill contains an additional $200 million dollars in borrowing authority to expand long-term veterans service facilities across Massachusetts.
