(Boston, MA) — The recent computer hack which has temporarily halted car inspections in Massachusetts has caught the attention of the commonwealth’s governor. Charlie Baker told a press gathering yesterday that he expects Wisconsin-based Applus Technologies to compensate Massachusetts inspection stations which have lost money due to the breach. The nationwide system operated by Applus has been shut down since a March 30th malware attack. It will likely be another week before inspections are allowed to resume.
