Massachusetts House Approves Borrowing For New Holyoke Soldiers Home

(undated) — The first step has been taken toward building a new Holyoke Soldier’s Home. The Massachusetts House has approved $400 million dollars in borrowing authority for the project, $260 million of which is expected to be funded by the federal government. A design plan for the new facility is due to the feds by early August.
