(undated) — Debate is set to begin later this week on whether to allow legalized sports betting in the Bay State. The Massachusetts House is set on Thursday to consider a revised version of a bill to allow sports betting, which has historically been a “non-starter” in the Legislature, but now appears to have renewed bi-partisan support in both chambers. Governor Baker has filed his own version of sports betting legislation, and has even included projected revenue from the practice into his most recent version of the state budget.
