(undated) — Massachusetts residents now have new options and resources regarding paid sick leave. Thursday marked the full phase in of the Massachusetts “Paid Family and Medical Leave” program. The new law, passed in 2018, allows residents to take up to 12 weeks of paid leave to care for a new child and up to 20 weeks to recover from a serious illness. It also provides workers with 12 weeks of paid leave to care for a sick family member.
