(undated) — Two human cases of West Nile Virus have been detected in Massachusetts. The state Department of Public Health has announced that two men, one in their 50s and the other in his 70’s, contracted the mosquito-borne illness in Middlesex County. Parts of Western Mass have been designated as potential “high risk” areas for West Nile, but no human cases have been reported in the area as yet.
