(Massachusetts) The Massachusetts State Police are standing by to monitor any potential protest activity in Massachusetts said Director of Communications David Procopio. Procopio said the objective is to protect peaceful free speech regardless of point of view.
“As always, our objective is to ensure that potential protestors in our areas of jurisdiction, regardless of the opinions they express, may demonstrate freely — provided they do so peacefully and with respect for the rights, safety, and property of other persons and the surrounding community,” said Procopio.
There are no known threats in Massachusetts, but the situation is being monitored.
