(Shelburne Falls, MA) — A Friday traffic stop in Shelburne Falls led to the arrests of two people on drug charges. State troopers Friday pulled over a Subaru Forester with improper auxiliary lights and an illegible handwritten temporary license plate. A search of the car revealed a wide variety of drugs and drug-related items including a cereal box with 3,100 bags of heroin. Arrested were the driver, Justin Butchino and the passenger Justin Gilliam, both of Springfield, Vermont. Both were charged with drug possession with intent to distribute. Butchino was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and misuse of auxiliary lights. Both are facing arraignment in Greenfield District Court.
