(undated) — Massachusetts schools will open in September with no restrictions. The state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has announced that all health and distancing restrictions put in place during the recent pandemic will be lifted for the 2021-2022 school year. Students will return to classes five days a week starting in the fall, and remote learning will not be offered as an option for districts. The commonwealth’s state of emergency is slated to be lifted June 15th.
