(undated) — A two-month sales tax holiday is looking less and less likely in Massachusetts. Governor Baker has proposed waiving the 6.25 percent tax for two months in an effort to stimulate economic activity heading into the fall and the start of school. But House Speaker Ron Mariano and Senate President Karen Spilka have indicated that they do not favor the idea, even though tax collections in the commonwealth are far ahead of legislative projections made earlier this year.
